They do not tell you that the purchase Id for 3-months! It must be renewed if wanted every 3-months. No radar view!

DO NOT PAY. Cant recommend anymore. Like other recent reviewers, Im not getting alerts even when in severe lightning storms. Hope they get it back up to snuff soon.

Worked ok for a few years, I resubscribed to the lightning alerts and nothing in 2.5 months. I contacted the developer and no reply. I contacted Apple for a refund, got it and now Im in search of a replacement app.

This app worked great the first year and a half that I had it. But for the past month or so, Ive gotten zero notifications, and my lightning list is very buggy. Therell be lightning striking near me, and yet it doesnt show up in the lightning strike list.

I am getting alerts but when I look to see how far away lightning is it tells me it is hundreds of miles away when I know it is very close to being overhead. I have sent a couple of messages but have not received a reply. I WILL NOT RENEW!!!

Despite having a full year subscription, Lightning Cast hasnt provided alerts in months. Its completely unreliable. Dont be scammed and AVOID this useless app. Grade: F The company has not responded to multiple email complaints. I feel cheated. Judging from so many similar reviews, Im not alone in my thinking.

Used to work great...now, its unreliable, crashes and all support is asleep at the wheel... Avoid and save the hassle...

TL:DR NO SUPPORT, BUGGY, POSSIBLY COMPROMISED, USE SOMETHING ELSE!! I attempted to renew 2 times before realizing I wasnt logged in despite appearing to be logged in. If you arent logged in you cant renew but Apple will still charge you. As Ive become reliant on this app on my 3rd try I succeeded. Now my current struggle is getting s response from support. 4th attempt at a refund or credit for what I paid for and no response. Update: I had my iMessages hacked and Apple ID compromised just hours after logging into the app. Avoid apps that arent updated regularly.

The app used to alert me all the time about lightning. Now it wont and it wont even let me save notification settings, it just crashes my phone. It tells me Im not signed in even though I am. I had to delete it cause it never alerted me anymore, needs major updates

I have been using lightning tracker for over a year now. Very useful for watching what tower sites of mine are under the gun or getting close to being hit

Ive been using this app for three or four years. Renewed subscription 2 days before expiration date and havent seen the first lightning strike or notification since. I work out doors and advanced warning is the reason for this apps existence. Without notification its worthless. Lots of free radar apps out there and here I am paying for one. WHY!!! 11 months and 26 days left on my subscription and nothing in return. Laugh your way to the bank boys. Itll be the last cash you get from me. When it works I give it 4 stars. Gets a one now.

When this app is working it is quite accurate and gives you customized notifications which are easy to set. Radar is good too. There seems to be some type of glitch where the Lightning is not shown. For me I think I this happened when I renewed but not completely sure. I then uninstalled and re-installed the application but it still was not working. However today when I checked it is working for me. Not sure if they updated something on the server end but it is working as it once did.

Should be removed from App Store. Used to work but quit showing lightning months ago. Tried contacting support through the app and via email from the website multiple times with no response. This is a subscription which is paid for several more months. On Google maps, I found an address and a phone #. If you are having problems try calling them. Maybe if everyone does they will fix this. It can be set to warn me when lightning is far or close. I have to unplug a lot of equipment when lightning is coming and this app never lets me down. It never locks up. The sound it makes to alarm you, sounds like my stomach growling and was very confusing to me till I figured out it was the ipad!

This a very reliable and accurate system. I work on wind turbines so I need to know about lightning in the area and this is one of the most accurate systems I have used.

Does not say anywhere in the details that this is a subscription for 3 months only for lightning and snow advisories. I wouldnt waist my money.

You havent updated the app in a year and want me to pay for a subscription? No thanks.
